oh, i love this so. yes, because it’s a lovely tribute to a lesser-referenced line in one of my most very favorite films of all time, but also because, in one of those delightful life moments of synchronicity, i came across it this week, as we get closer and closer to the first performance of bloodsong of love. in which i play a character named banana. i found it immensely reassuring.
